Detailed Description

This versatile and durable serger is a must-have for any sewing room. The AIRFLOW 3000 is more efficient than a traditional sewing machine as it can cut and finish seams all in one pass. Plus, changing threads is a breeze with Air Threading Technology. The AIRFLOW 3000 is ideal either for advanced sewers who already use a serger but are looking to upgrade, or for serger beginners who use a sewing machine for garment construction, home décor, crafting, and quilting, but are looking to add decorative finishes to their projects.

With the AIRFLOW 3000, seams are cut and finished all in one pass. A blast of air sends the threads through the looper, saving significant amounts of time and preventing lind buildup simultaneously. Difficult materials, such as fine knits and stretchy fabrics, are now easier than ever to work with in the AIRFLOW 3000. Sewing at 1,300 stitches per minute, the machine works hard so you don't have to!

Air Technology

The AIRFLOW 3000 has an easy one-touch looper threading that uses a blast of air for threading. With threading ports that are connected to the end of each looper by tubes, at the press of a button, the air sends the thread through the looper. So, it's like a breath of fresh air to change thread colors. Simply insert your thread into the threading hole and whoosh, the air system guides it through the loopers for you.

Great Stitch Quality

Excellent for fine knits and stretchy materials, which can be very challenging fabrics for a traditional sewing machine. Achieve outstanding finishing touches with flatlock, overlock, and rolled hem stitches on most specialty fabrics. Add decorative touches and professional finishes to any DIY project, anywhere, anytime.

Safety Sensor and Error LED

The machine will not start and an error LED light will come on – either when the fabric cover or front cover is open or if the presser foot is raised.

Brightly Lit Work Area

See your work properly with the bright LED lights. Makes working with darker colored materials much easier, and means you can work at any time of the day or night.

Quick Change Levers

The AIRFLOW 3000 has a pair of quick-change levers for the rolled hemstitch feature, and a switch that will activate and deactivate the cutting knife before the edge is wrapped with thread.

Differential Feed

The differential feed ratio (0.7mm to 2.0mm) provides outstanding stitch quality and acts as the tool for custom lettuce edge finishes on specialty materials. You'll achieve the results you want no matter the fabric you choose!

The Brother Airflow 3000 is a beautiful solid serger.

Love love love the air threading and ease of threading the needle's! It’s bigger than my Brother Designio DZ1234 serger but they both work great. For the size of this Brother Airflow 3000 it is smoother and quieter than my smaller one. I am happy that I purchased this Brother Airflow 3000 serger and love using it. I repeat the Name and model because I have noticed some reviews do not state what the review is about and can easily be used on other reviews that have nothing to do with the product you are researching. I hope this helps someone especially with a product that is at this price point. It is a good solid machine that I feel confident will perform and run for many years as my other Brother sewing and embroidery machines do.I have had no problems with any of my Brother machines and I have had them since 2010. Seven machines in all and I used them all for various tasks and locations.
