MonoSol (Aquafilm & Badgemaster)

MonoSol’s embroidery films, MonoSol-Vee® (a.k.a. Aquafilm) and Badgemaster®, have been the preferred stabilizer choice of industrial embroiderers for many years and are essential to successful machine embroidered designs. If fabric is not stabilized properly, the design may not line up correctly. The problems may result in puckering, gapping, poor registration or difficulty in the management of the fabric.

The heavier your fabric, the lighter stabilizer you will need. MonoSol-Vee (a.k.a. Aquafilm) is offered in light weight  (U-Type), medium weight (X-Type). These can be used as toppings and layered as backings. MonoSol's heaviest embroidery stabilizer is Badgemaster®, which can be used as a backing or exclusively in freestanding lace or ornamental craft projects.
