Each pack contains two approximately 20 x 28-inch, 100% cotton tea towels for embroidery or other embellishment. Machine wash in cool water and tumble dry on low. Choose the desired color option; the pack does not include all six colors.

Bring your project together

• Support the stitches. Ultra Clean & Tear is a good starting point for these washable, non-stretch cotton towels. It supports the embroidery and softens with laundering. Test your chosen design and adjust the backing layers for the towel's weave and stitch density.
• Have fun with the color palette. Shop our Isacord embroidery thread for Silky White, Black, Tarnished Gold, Spanish Gold, Spanish Tile, Dusty Grape and Jade. Those are the seven shades in OESD's collection palette; check your chosen design's chart before shopping, since not every motif uses them all. Use the chart's shade numbers to make your selections.
• Find the perfect spot. Optional StabilStick Template Sheets let you preview a printed design at actual size before hooping. The Grippy Grid helps you line things up. Template sheets are placement aids; remove them before stitching.
• Keep the rest of the towel out of the way. If needed, Tear Away Tape can help hold loose towel fabric clear of the stitching area. Finish with a gentle press, embroidery face down on the Perfect Embroidery Press Cloth, following the towel and thread care directions.

A simple way to make a matching pair

1. Choose your two designs. Wash, dry and press the blank towels according to their care instructions before adding embroidery. Fold each towel the way you plan to display it, then preview the motif on the visible panel. Leave room above the hem so the stitching doesn't land on a bulky folded edge.
2. Stitch with a little breathing room. Add the backing, hoop without stretching the towel, and embroider using the file format and thread sequence for your design. Keep the rest of the towel clear of the needle so you stitch through only the intended layer.
3. Finish, fold and enjoy. Trim jump threads and gently remove excess tear-away while supporting the stitches. Press, then fold your finished pair or tie it with ribbon for an easy kitchen gift. The blank towels' care instructions call for a cool wash and low tumble dry; also follow the care requirements of your embroidery materials.

Make it a kitchen gift set. Add a White Apron and stitch a coordinating motif for your favorite baker or coffee lover. The apron is optional and sold separately; choose backing to suit its fabric and your design.

A quick hoop check: Bowls measures 3.62" × 3.88"; Kettle measures 5.73" × 4.03"; Mugs measures 6.22" × 1.42". Kettle and Mugs need more room than a 4" × 4" field and fit a compatible 5" × 7" field when oriented appropriately. Check your machine's actual stitching area, and leave extra room if combining motifs or adding a border.
