OESD HydroStick is a medium-weight TearAway stabilizer with a starch-based, water-activated adhesive. It supports hard-to-hoop, firmly woven items such as napkin corners, caps and bulky seam areas.

The adhesive holds the item until it is remoistened. Use a light amount of water to activate it and allow it to dry before placing the hoop in the machine.

How to Use & Finish

1. Hoop the stabilizer shiny/glue side up and lightly moisten the adhesive with a damp sponge, brush or fine mist. Avoid oversaturating it.
2. Position the item, finger-press it in place and let the stabilizer dry before putting the hoop in the machine.
3. After stitching, remoisten the backing to release the adhesive. Gently tear away excess while supporting the stitches; rinse out excess adhesive if needed and safe for the item.
