Unlike standard home sewing machines that move the feed dogs in a basic oval path, Juki's commercial-grade Box Feed system operates in an advanced rectangular motion. This configuration ensures that the feed dogs stay in direct contact with your fabric much longer, eliminating shifting, twisting, and bunching. Easily select standard straight, zig-zag, applique, overlocking, invisible hemming, or stretch stitching using the quick-access direct select panel. The crisp LCD display reveals your current selections, recommends the best presser foot for the job, and lets you fine-tune settings using the integrated control dial.

Customization, Memory Sequences & Pattern Positioning

Combine multiple decorative stitches and lettering fonts into entirely new design sequences, with the ability to save up to 70 customized patterns in the machine's onboard memory. The HZL-F400 also lets you reposition an entire design pattern sideways without altering its width, and offers variable needle positions for ultimate stitch placement precision.

Heel-Activated Thread Trimming Foot Controller

Keep your focus completely on your project. The specialized foot controller allows you to trigger automatic top and bobbin thread cutting simply by rocking your foot back to tap the heel portion of the pedal. If preferred, you can also trim threads on demand using the convenient button on the machine body.
