Janome EZ Snips Scissors with Lanyard

Love the lanyard for keeping the snips handy!

Pros: very easy to use and perfect for a sewist who has arthritic hands or anyone looking for more ergonomic snips. Made of stainless steel like a surgical instrument. The only drawback is the manner in which the snips are attached to the lanyard. It's not attached at the base as you'd expect. Its attached via vinyl sleeve over the tip of the blades. Much less handy because you must take the snips off of the lanyard to use them.

I would give these EZ snips 4.4 stars. Very nice pair of snips with opposing tension so you pinch them closed and they naturally want to reopen. Would make things easier for sewists with arthritic hands or anyone who wants a more ergonomic alternative to traditional snips. The only thing I would improve is the manner in which the EZ snips are connected to the lanyard. Instead of attaching at the base of the snips, they are attached by the points of the snips themselves. The plastic sleeve that keeps the blades together has a hole for the key ring to go through. Kind of an obtuse way to do it.
