The BERNINA L 890 stands as a revolutionary machine in Overlock and Coverstitching, featuring an array of remarkable capabilities. The one-step BERNINA Air Threader offers a fun and straightforward threading experience. A simple press on the foot control magically moves the threads through the machine, freeing your hands and automatically setting the loopers in the correct position. The machine boasts intuitive operation via a centrally located color touch screen that provides stitch selection, individual stitch settings and properties, and a handy sewing consultant for both expert and guided modes. The BERNINA L 890 also allows you to save up to 100 stitches in your personal memory, adjust stitch length, differential feed, and thread tension while sewing, and make alterations with the mtc (Micro Thread Control) to modify the overedge thread amount.

Offering a generous sewing space with 5 5/8" to the right of the needle and a convenient freearm, the BERNINA L 890 has more room than any other BERNINA overlocker/serger, making sewing closed items a breeze. Enjoy smooth sewing with this machine that can sew up to 1,350 stitches per minute and remain quiet while doing so. You can program and control the maximum and minimum speeds via the color touch screen for a more precise and personalized sewing experience. Capable of sewing using 2, 3, 4, or 5 threads, the L 890 provides the perfect seam for every design, whether for overlock, chain-/cover- & combo stitches, highly elastic or knitted materials. Lastly, the machine features a quick threading mechanism with color-coded one-path threading, allowing easy switch between stitch types and enhancing your sewing journey to the fullest.
