Aurifil Abloom 12wt Cotton Quilting Thread Kit CY12AC10

The Aurifil Abloom 12wt Cotton Thread Kit CY12AC10 is a collection curated by Corey Yoder to coordinate with her Abloom fabrics for Moda. It contains 10 small spools of Aurifil's 2-ply 12wt Mako cotton, one each of colors 5013, 5004, 6732, 2312, 2021, 6729, 2420, 2840, 2830 and 2130. Each spool holds 54 yards (50 meters) of long-staple Egyptian cotton.

Aurifil's heavier 12wt cotton creates visible texture for big-stitch hand quilting, hand embroidery, appliqué and decorative stitching. For machine embellishment, use an appropriate needle and 40wt thread in the bobbin, then test the stitch length and tension on a fabric scrap. This coordinated set is also a thoughtful gift for quilters who enjoy handwork and decorative details.
