How to Die Cut GO! Spinning Petals Die

• Apply fusible web product to the wrong side of the fabric, following manufacturer's instructions, before cutting for fusible appliqué. Place fabric on die right sides together to cut pairs.
• Large Flower: Cut and fuse one 6" square. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 6 flowers across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 36 flowers.
• Large Flower Center: Cut and fuse one 3 1/2" square. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 11 flowers across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 110 flowers.
• Small Flower: Cut and fuse one 4" square. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 10 flowers across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 90 flowers.
• Small Flower Center: Cut and fuse one 2 1/2" square. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 16 flowers across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 224 flowers.
• Small Shapes: Place scraps on blade and cut.

Die Tips

• With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet after cutting. Snip these threads with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
• It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
• Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller or die pick to clean lint and thread from dies. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
• GO! Bolt material limits: up to 6 layers of cotton, batiks or silk; 2 layers of cotton with fusible web; or 1 layer of fleece, flannel, denim, leather, wool, batting or felt. Use no more than 4 layers when running two 5-inch-wide dies side by side. Start with fewer layers and follow the cutter and die instructions.
