Rachel Rossi is a designer for Benartex, creating thoughtfully crafted patterns and fabrics rooted in tradition and innovation. She grew up in Central Pennsylvania, where her parents and siblings encouraged her creativity from an early age. Her love for quilting began when her mother opened a quilt shop—an experience that immersed Rachel in the artistry, craftsmanship, and strong sense of community that define the quilting world. Spending her childhood exploring the shop, assisting with classes, and watching the business grow inspired her to pursue a creative path within the industry. Now based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Rachel designs from her in-home studio while raising her three daughters alongside her husband. Her work spans fabric collections, patterns, and templates, all shaped by her interior design background and experience as a pattern designer. With interests ranging from gardening and furniture refinishing to painting, embroidery, and weaving, Rachel draws inspiration from many creative disciplines. These diverse influences come together in fabric designs that feel fresh, timeless, and continually evolving—honoring quilting traditions while pushing them forward.
