Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist, illustrator, and author based in Hertfordshire, UK. She founded her brand, Essoldo Design, in 2020 and since then has been lucky enough to have built a community of over 225,000 social media followers, sold her work in more 35 countries worldwide, and licensed products across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Her bestselling book, Creative Abstract Watercolor, is now available in 7 languages, and her second book is published in October 2025. Much of her work is inspired by nature, from flowers and greenery to gemstones and jewels. She’s obsessed with embellishment (as her jewelry collection will pay testament), so her work often features a myriad of dots, decorations, and most importantly gold!
