Fabric Designed by Cindy Jackson

Cindy Jackson is a designer for Michael Miller Fabrics and a painter and illustrator whose work spans multiple creative genres. While she has explored many artistic styles, she is consistently drawn back to acrylic painting and bold, expressive color. Growing up in the 1960s and 1970s, Cindy finds inspiration in classic rock ’n’ roll, an influence that often appears in her artwork. In addition to painting, illustration has become an exciting new creative outlet for Cindy, with much of her digital work created on her iPad Pro. Her designs have been featured in six puzzle releases as well as two fabric collections. Before pursuing art full time, Cindy spent years as a flight attendant, a career that allowed her to experience diverse cultures, people, and places, all of which continue to inform and inspire her designs today. Family is also a central source of inspiration, including her husband, two daughters, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, and a lively group of beloved pets. A Minnesota native for most of her life, Cindy brings warmth, creativity, and life experience into every piece she creates.
