Large Color Capacitive Touch Screen Get all the information you need directly on a large 8” (174x96 mm) color capacitive touch screen. See your settings clearly, and make all your edits on screen with confidence. The capacitive touch tablet-like screen allows you to easily navigate on-screen using touch gestures like swipe, pinch, and spread.

Hoop Scanning Get a true preview of your embroidery with a built-in camera that enables you to scan a hooped project. The image of your hooped project will load as your background so you can preview how the embroidery will look before stitching to help you place the design and decide what thread colors look best.

Adjustable Laser Sewing Guidance Project a laser guidance line directly on your fabric to easily line up your stitches. Move the laser projected line guide left or right to easily align lines of decorative stitches, consistently space quilting lines, and more.

AI Presser Foot Recognition Attach any included presser foot and the machine will inform you if the foot is compatible with your stitch selection. It will also show you if the foot is attached incorrectly to make sure you are using the best foot in the best way for your projects.

Sew a straight stitch in 37 different needle positions for ideally placed topstitching, edge stitching, under stitching, stitching-in-the-ditch or quilting.

Stitch Balance

Automatically sets the ideal feed balance when stitching forwards and backward, so your decorative stitching looks stunning every time.

Stitch Density

For the desired fullness, density can be increased or decreased without affecting stitch length because this machine carefully controls the distance between the stitch points.

Adjustable Stitch Width

The size of the stitch from left to right is adjustable up to 9 mm wide. Adjust the stitch width to make it narrower or wider as desired for a unique look.

Adjustable Stitch Length

Customize the appearance of a stitch by increasing or decreasing the distance between stitches. Use this function for various stitch techniques like applique, basting and more.

Mirror Image Stitches

Flip the stitch side to side or top to bottom for even more decorative possibilities.

Stitch Positioning

It is possible to change the complete stitch position for any stitch with less than 9mm stitch width. Align the stitch position with a point on your fabric or presser foot without moving your fabric.

Stitch Restart

Return to the beginning of a stitch or sequence without having to reset any special adjustments you’ve made or trying to sew to the right stitch to get back to the beginning.

Stitch Programming with Memories

Program a sequence of stitches to create a line of decorative stitches or lettering to personalize your sewing. You can even save your favorites in the machine to come back to at any moment so you don’t need to remember or reprogram the sequence.

Free-Motion Settings

Choose your ideal free-motion mode to get the best free-motion results based on the foot you prefer, there’s even a ruler foot setting. You can also use any non-dimensional decorative stitch up to 9 mm wide in free-motion mode.

Needle Up/Down Button

Save time by setting the needle’s stopping position as desired so you don’t have to turn the handwheel or focus on getting the needle in the highest or lowest position. Press to have the needle stop down in the fabric each time you stop sewing, great for applique, topstitching and more.

Perfectly Balanced Buttonholes

The Sensormatic One-Step Buttonhole Foot automatically sews perfect one-step buttonholes every time by sewing both sides of the buttonhole in the same direction for evenly balanced buttonholes. Choose from 16 buttonhole styles and five eyelets designed for various sewing applications.

Stitch Repeat

In Stitch Repeat you’ll find two options called: Patchwork Program and Single Stitch Program. Let the machine do the math for you. Sew your seam and the machine will remember the seam length to repeat over and over. Or set the exact number of stitch or sequence repeats you wish to sew.

Stitch-Width Safety

The Stitch-Width Safety feature prevents needle breakage. It limits stitch width to center-needle straight stitch for using a straight-stitch foot.

Automatic Tie-off

Ties-off automatically at the beginning and/or the end of a seam to secure your stitch quickly and easily.

Tapering on Decorative Stitches

Taper at the beginning and/or at the end of any stitch. Change the angle of taper for unlimited creative opportunities. You can even embroider wonderful tapers in the hoop.

Built-In Thread Cutter

Trim both the top and bobbin threads with the touch of a button. No need for scissors or to draw up the bobbin thread to start sewing again.

Twin-Needle Program

Enter twin-needle size to automatically limit the stitch width. You can even preview what the twin-needle stitch will look like on the screen.

Move Into Hoop and Corner Check

Easily place your design on screen with a variety of on-screen tools that will automatically move the design into the hoop for you, or check your corners. This saves you time by removing the focus required to place and find positions manually.
