The Kangaroo Melbourne XL & Adelaide Full Size Sewing Cabinet pairs a large-machine sewing workstation with a separate rolling drawer cabinet. Melbourne XL's 30 1/2" x 14 1/2" lift opening provides room for compatible sewing, quilting and embroidery machines, while a rear quilt leaf and right-side extension support larger projects. The sewing cabinet opens to 60 1/8" x 42 1/2", excluding Adelaide, and closes to 45" x 26 7/8" when the leaves are folded.

Choose a hydraulic lift supporting up to 55 lbs or a programmable electric lift with remote control supporting up to 65 lbs. Adelaide adds three full-view, soft-close drawers, a removable tray and a thread spool holder, with a covered top drawer that offers extra work surface. Its separate design lets you position storage on either side of Melbourne XL. Both pieces have heavy-duty locking casters and come in Ash White or Teak woodgrain melamine laminate; a custom A14 acrylic insert is sold separately.

Plan Your Space: Closed, Melbourne XL is 45" x 26 7/8" and Adelaide adds 16 1/2" of width, about 61 1/2" side by side. With the leaves open, Melbourne XL alone spans 60 1/8" x 42 1/2", and Adelaide can sit at either end. Allow room in front for a chair.

The 30 1/2" x 14 1/2" opening fits large sewing, quilting and embroidery machines. Raise the lift for flat bed sewing, lower it for free arm work, or store the machine inside. Add a custom A14 acrylic insert for a flush surface.

Electric Lift Option

The electric version adds a programmable lift with a wall-style keypad and a remote control, so you can move the machine to saved heights at the push of a button.

Quilt Leaf and Side Extension

A collapsible rear quilt leaf and a right-side extension leaf support large projects so fabric doesn't drag on the floor.

Adelaide Drawer Storage

Adelaide's top drawer holds notions under a removable cover that doubles as extra workspace. Full-view, soft-close drawers include a removable tray and a thread spool holder. Its split design lets you set it to the left or right of Melbourne XL.
