Now designers can create projects to reflect their personal sense of style with the Memory Craft 500E Limited Edition. It's easy to personalize, embellish, and monogram home décor items, garments, and accessories. With 160 built-in embroidery designs and 6 fonts for monogramming, the possibilities are endless. The MC500E Limited Edition has a maximum embroidery size of 7.9”x11” and it comes with 4 embroidery hoops; RE28b 7.9" x 11", SQ20b 7.9" x 7.9", RE20b 5.5" x 7.9" and SQ14b 5.5" x 5.5" an extra wide table for expansive workroom.
Designs are easily imported through the direct port and edited through the machine's advanced on-screen editing functions. Navigation through all of these features has become easier with the MC500E Limited Edition’s new LCD color touchscreen.
Explore the rewarding joys of embroidery with the 4 included hoops and AcuStitch (PC-compatible software). For your biggest projects, the Limited Edition also includes a USB drive with 30 large exclusive designs.

I LOVE this embroidery machine. So easy to use, especially if you have had an embroidery machine in the past. My first project was a cat face on a red stocking for my daughter. It came out beautiful!

i /we don't write many reviews, but i really must say, after using the Janome Memory Craft 500E Embroidery Machine for a year now, the simplicity of its use, dependably is superb, it is quiet, temperamental, what i mean is don't mix threads, bobbin and spool, use like for like, you break a needle, look for broken piece, any unfamiliar noise, you did not find broken end of needle, maintain as per instructions, in the first year over 500 of use, issues that developed were operator error, machine is smart, very easy to use , you must learn to download files, this a minor learning curve, but when you learn, there are so many projects you can do. we made several free standing lace Christmas ornaments for gifts, besides projects for children, grand kids, and friends. if you are looking for an embroidery machine only, go try one out at a dealer, I bought this off amazon for my wife for a Christmas gift last year, did a lot of research. I am very pleased with the purchase.

...BUY FROM A LOCAL SEWING MACHINE DEALER!!! The Janome machines are very well made but do require, like any other brand, service and maintenance--same as your car--they are both computerized and complex machines. Local dealers will also offer you the best price and lessons to get you up and going and continued support. You can also usually buy a unit that was a trade-in, and the dealer will have gone over it to make it like new...and offer some sort of warranty and free lessons. I buy a lot through Amazon, but my babies (I have several types of sewing machines) come from my local dealer and they go home to visit when needed.
