Every fabric is chosen to create the color gradations her designs are known for, so the guesswork of pulling fabrics is done for you. Her patterns typically use foundation paper piecing for sharp points and precise curves, making this kit a rewarding project for confident quilters. The kit includes fabrics for the quilt top and binding, the pattern and foundation papers. Backing fabric is not included and must be purchased separately.

Jacqueline de Jonge is a Dutch quilt designer known for dazzling foundation paper-pieced quilts and her BeColourful batik collections with Anthology. Her quilt kits bring together the exact BeColourful batiks needed for one of her signature foundation paper-pieced designs. Anthology batiks are hand-crafted in Bali, where artisans apply wax with copper stamps (tjaps) or by hand and dye the cloth in layers. Because each piece is made by hand, small variations in color and pattern are part of its character. The tightly woven cotton holds crisp points and seams, and the rich color shows on both sides of the cloth.
