This innovative die gives you unique shapes to create two different blocks and dozens of fun projects. The die includes 2 unique shapes on a 6" x 12" die board. Finished size: 3" Finished Unit, 6" Finished Block.

Fractured Tumbler is a Block on Board® (BOB®) die which means it's specially designed to cut four of each 3" finished blocks in one pass through the cutter in 3-color or 4-color designs. Combine four 3" blocks to make a 6" finished block. It works with the GO! Me, GO!, GO! Bolt, GO! Big and Studio 2 (with a GO! die adapter) cutters, and AccuQuilt recommends cutting up to 6 layers of cotton, batiks, satin, silk at a time. Cutting requires the AccuQuilt GO! 6" x 12" cutting mat, sold separately. Because there are no templates to trace or rulers to slip, it is an easy way for beginners and experienced quilters alike to get consistent, accurate pieces quickly.

How to Die Cut GO! Fractured Tumbler Die 3" Finished

• For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller. Tip: The die is specially designed to cut four of each 3" finished blocks in one pass through the cutter in 3-color or 4-color designs. Combine four 3" blocks to make a 6" finished block. 3-Color Block – Shapes A.
• Fabric Color 1: Cut two 4-1/2" x 4-1/4" rectangles. Place right side up over shapes A to cut four shapes.
• Fabric Color 2: Cut one 4-1/2" x 4-1/4" rectangle. Place right side up over shapes A to cut two shapes.
• Fabric Color 3: Cut one 4-1/2" x 4-1/4" rectangle. Place right side up over shapes A to cut two shapes.
• 4-Color Block – Shapes B.
• Fabric Color 1: Cut one 4-3/4" square. Place right side up over shapes B to cut four shapes.

Die Tips

• With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet after cutting. Snip these threads with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
• It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
• Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller or die pick to clean lint and thread from dies. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
• For Studio or Studio 2 use, fit the GO! die in the appropriate GO! die adapter and compatible Studio tray, and use Studio cutting plastic instead of a GO! cutting mat.
• GO! Bolt material limits: up to 6 layers of cotton, batiks or silk; 2 layers of cotton with fusible web; or 1 layer of fleece, flannel, denim, leather, wool, batting or felt. Use no more than 4 layers when running two 5-inch-wide dies side by side. Start with fewer layers and follow the cutter and die instructions.
