Fabric Designed by Kiley's Quilt Room

Kiley Ferons is a passionate fabric designer and creative entrepreneur based in Charles Town, West Virginia, where she lives with her husband and four children. A lifelong go-getter, Kiley began her entrepreneurial journey in high school, offering private swim lessons and launching a boutique for formal wear. In 2010, shortly after getting married, Kiley was introduced to quilting by her mother-in-law—a moment that would shape the course of her career. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a thriving business. She began longarm quilting in 2015, followed by writing and publishing quilt patterns in 2020. In 2021, she founded a digital magazine for modern quilters, a project that brought immense joy to both her and the quilting community. At the end of that chapter, Kiley submitted her work to a publisher and released her first book, Modern Day Quilter, in December 2023. Although the process was creatively intense, it sparked a new direction—digital art and fabric design. In the spring of 2024, Kiley signed her first fabric design contract with Moda Fabrics, a milestone that brought her full circle in her creative journey. Today, she channels her deep love for quilting into designing modern, inspiring fabrics for quilters who share her passion. Kiley’s career in the quilting world has evolved through many exciting phases, each filled with creativity, connection, and community. She invites you to follow along as she continues to grow and create in the world of fabric design.
