Panasonic Cordless Advanced Ceramic Quilting Iron NI-QL2000 Series

Great iron- stays hot and most of all- it doesn’t turn off for hours which I love!

There are many cordless irons out there to choose from, and I've owned various Panasonic irons since 2001. THIS IS THE ONE. It has a larger water tank (160ml) and runs at 1700 Watts, so it gets hotter faster (the others run at 1500W). The ceramic plate is nice and smooth but can get stained more easily than stainless steel. I completely recommend it. The only con is that, even with the larger tank, it needs to be refilled often - something that steam stations do better than these cordless models. You can't have it all. :) I prioritized the freedom of cordless over the ample steam of the steam stations in making my decision.
