OESD Fusible Woven is a lightweight woven reinforcement with fusible on one side. Apply it over the project area to add body and support behind quilt blocks, bag panels, garments and tiling-scene fabrics.

It adds reinforcement rather than changing the fabric’s original thread count. For stitch-intensive embroidery, combine it with the additional TearAway or CutAway backing called for by the design.

How to Use & Finish

1. Cut to the size of the area being lined and place the fusible side against the reverse of the fabric.
2. Press with a medium iron at the wool setting, following the manufacturer’s guidance and testing the fabric first.
3. Add backing appropriate to the embroidery’s density. In most applications, leave the woven reinforcement in place as a lining.
