Machine Manual

The compact, robust, and easy-to-operate JUKI MO-104D is an ideal complement to your sewing machine. Whether you are working with the finest silk and satin, denim, thick fleece or stretchy fabrics, the MO-104D will give you the sewing results you’ve always dreamed of. Additionally, the MO-104D’s 2, 3, and 4 thread option allows for narrow and hard-wearing seams on stretch and woven fabrics.

The MO-104D is a compact, 2/3/4-thread, 2-needle overlock and surging machine that offers a lot of bang for the buck. It does 15 different stitch patterns for all kinds of seams and hemming plus it stitches up to 1,00 SPM. It can sew stretchy knit fabrics using up to 4 threads to create tidy, yet strong seams that will stretch with the fabric. It can also make heavy duty seams for high-wear pieces, seams for items made from thicker fabrics, and finer seams for more delicate fabrics.

Like the best professional sergers, this personal model offers differential feed as well as adjustable stitch length and width to accommodate any type of fabric with each of its different stitches. The stitches will be precise and lay flat no matter what type of seam or hem is being sewn. All adjustments can be quickly and easily made using the simple control dials on the side of the machine.

My first serger

My mom gave her serger away to an 8 year old to spite me 20 something years ago. Somehow that hurt never got passed me and I'm getting older. The other day I just decided to get one.I looked over many models. The price on the brother model and number of reviews nearly roped me in. It was the consistent noise reports that led me to the Juki.I was able to get it threaded and stitching while watching a video for a similar model. I fixed an expensive garment with it and it looks great! Now I need decide what is next to make with this machine and looking into a set of feet. The machine worked right out of the box without any issues.

Love this Machine

This is my first Serger. After doing a fair bit of research I purchased this one. It is a basic, easy to use right out of the box serger/overlock. You could easily spend $1,000.00 more for all the bells and whistles, but really just wanted a machine that would be used for personal garment construction. I made 4 sundresses for my granddaughters in the first two days! Do not be discouraged by the threading...not that hard in my opinion. Youtube videos really came in handy. It comes with everything you need to begin sewing. I hope you enjoy this machine as much as I do. I felt it was really a great value.

Get it!

This thing is awesome! I barely had to tinker with it out of the box. It is my first serger and I was so intimidated but got over that hump really fast. It does a beautiful job. I would highly recommend it!
