Super Easy Looper Threading

Threading a specialty coverstitch machine is no longer a slow, complicated process. The lower looper threader on the MCS-1500 disengages for fast, easy looper threading in seconds. Simply slide your thread directly into the designated slot and snap the looper back into place.

Heavy-Duty Chain Stitching

Enjoy unmatched seam resilience on high-wear garments. The MCS-1500's chain stitch configuration forms a tight, secure lower thread chain on the wrong side of the fabric. This chain stretches and moves naturally with the fabric without snapping, making it the ideal choice for finishing waistbands, side seams on jeans, and athletic wear.

Easy Stitch Length & Differential Feed Adjustment Dials

Eliminate puckered seams on fine georgettes and wavy, stretched-out edges on unstable knits. The adjustable differential feed dial lets you speed up or slow down the front feed dogs relative to the rear feed dogs, keeping your materials perfectly flat, smooth, and distortion-free during stitching. Customize your stitch length dynamically from 1mm to 4mm by turning the convenient dial on the exterior right-hand side of the machine.

High-Clearance Front Foot Lift

Insert thick materials and multi-layered hems easily without crushing your fabric. The tip of the standard presser foot is angled higher to facilitate smooth insertion from the start of your seam. Raising the foot lifter completely provides a spacious 8mm to 10mm of vertical clearance, accommodating thick fleeces, denims, and ribbed knits with ease.

Standard Presser Foot with Guide

Prevent lightweight, high-stretch knits and activewear fabrics from slipping out of alignment. The included specialty presser foot is equipped with a physical guide that presses down evenly on both the left and right sides of your stitch line, ensuring perfectly centered needle penetration and straight coverstitched hems.
