Perfect for seasonal or holiday-themed quilting projects by pairing with our popular GO! Gingerbread Cookie (55862) die. It works with the GO! Me, GO!, GO! Bolt, GO! Big and Studio 2 (with a GO! die adapter) cutters, and AccuQuilt recommends cutting up to 4 layers of cotton with fusible web at a time (up to 2 layers with GO! Bolt). Cutting requires the AccuQuilt GO! 6" x 6" cutting mat, sold separately. Because there are no templates to trace or rulers to slip, it is an easy way for beginners and experienced quilters alike to get consistent, accurate pieces quickly.

How to Die Cut GO! Cookie Decorations Die

• Apply fusible web product to the wrong side of the fabric, following manufacturer's instructions, before cutting for fusible appliqué.
• Dress: Cut and fuse 3-5/8" x 2-5/8" rectangles. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 12 dresses across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 108 dresses.
• Heart: Cut and fuse 1-7/8" x 1-1/2" rectangles. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 26 hearts across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 494 hearts.
• Bow: Cut and fuse 1-1/2" x 13-5/8" rectangles. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 29 bows across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 522 bows.
• Circle/Button: Place scraps on blade and cut.

Die Tips

• With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet after cutting. Snip these threads with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
• It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
• Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller or die pick to clean lint and thread from dies. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
• For Studio or Studio 2 use, fit the GO! die in the appropriate GO! die adapter and compatible Studio tray, and use Studio cutting plastic instead of a GO! cutting mat.
• GO! Bolt material limits: up to 6 layers of cotton, batiks or silk; 2 layers of cotton with fusible web; or 1 layer of fleece, flannel, denim, leather, wool, batting or felt. Use no more than 4 layers when running two 5-inch-wide dies side by side. Start with fewer layers and follow the cutter and die instructions.
