Creative Grids Perfect 10 Ruler CGRPERF10

Designed by It's Sew Emma. Creative Grids Rulers are made in the USA and sold through independent quilt shops as well as select online retailers.

This 10" square ruler is designed by It's Sew Emma for Creative Grids. It can cut a variety of popular shapes from precut 10" squares or from your stash. Easy to read black and white markings. Cut around the square to create your own 10" squares from your stash.

1/2" grid covers the entire square, and 2-1/2" squares and strips, 5" squares and strips, and 9-1/2" squares are highlighted. 45 degree line makes quick work of trimming half-square triangle blocks.

The Creative Grids non-slip grip lets you position the ruler on the fabric, then helps hold it steady when pressure is applied for cutting or marking. It comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions. Scan the QR code printed on the tool or instructions to watch a how-to video and see patterns made with it.

Creative Projects You Can Complete

Turn 10-inch precuts into coordinated squares and strips for a runner, throw or larger quilt. Its highlighted subdivisions make it easier to repeat the same cuts across a layer-cake collection or combine precuts with pieces from your stash.

Use the diagonal guide to align suitable half-square-triangle units before trimming. Plan the required cut sizes first, then use the marked subdivisions to repeat them accurately. For a guided layout, companion patterns such as Square Dance and Square One offer projects for this tool; follow the selected pattern’s fabric and cutting requirements.
