The Alaska Ruler designed by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts for Creative Grids cuts a multitude of shapes in a variety of sizes. Easy to read black and white markings. Cuts 45 degree wedges and diamonds, squares, and half-square triangles. Make Kaleidoscope and Alaska blocks in four different sizes.

9", 10-1/2", 12", and 16" finished blocks. Use the diamond markings on outside edge to cut 45 degree diamonds. Use the gridded portion to cut squares from strips, and to trim half-square triangles. Use the ruler to trim the triangles in the Alaska block and the half-diamond sections.

There are endless possibilities with all the shapes you can cut with this one ruler.
