Sliders are used for adjustable straps, allowing you to adjust the length of a strap to fit the person carrying the purse or bag. The slider helps hold the strap together. All the patterns that use this hardware give directions for attaching the slider. These black sliders are lightweight yet sturdy with an extra-wide opening for a 1" strap. In this package you get two (2) D-rings. (Note plastic hardware is packaged in a bag with a hang tag, not in plastic cases like ByAnnie's metal hardware.) ByAnnie's plastic hardware is durable and solid, yet lightweight. It is great for functional projects that will get regular use. Every 1-inch hardware piece has a 1-inch opening for attaching strapping. We recommend covering the strapping with a coordinating fabric in order to make a truly custom look for your project.
