The GO! Wonky Heart makes it easy and fun to play with fabric color and block layout to create your own quirky heart shapes. This fabric cutting die is part of our BOB (Block on Board) series that allows you to build an entire block with just one die. Use your GO! Die Cutter and 10" precut squares. There is no need to trim as you go because the GO! The die includes 10 unique shapes on a 10" x 10" die board.

Wonky Heart is designed for easy piecing. Wonky Heart is a Block on Board® (BOB®) die which means it's specially designed to cut six complete 2-color, 6" block in one pass through the cutter. It works with the GO!, GO! Bolt, GO! Big and Studio 2 (with a GO! die adapter) cutters. Cutting requires the AccuQuilt GO! 10" x 10" cutting mat, sold separately. Because there are no templates to trace or rulers to slip, it is an easy way for beginners and experienced quilters alike to get consistent, accurate pieces quickly.

How to Die Cut GO! Wonky Heart 6" Finished Die

• For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
• TIP: To create a 2-color Wonky Heart Block: Cut three layers of one fabric color and three layers of a contrasting fabric color at a time.
• Cut 9" x 8 3/4" rectangles. For a 2-color design, four cuts across the width of fabric yield enough pieces for eight complete blocks. One yard of 40" wide fabric in each color will yield 16 blocks.

Die Tips

• With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet after cutting. Snip these threads with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
• It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
• Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller or die pick to clean lint and thread from dies. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
• For Studio or Studio 2 use, fit the GO! die in the appropriate GO! die adapter and compatible Studio tray, and use Studio cutting plastic instead of a GO! cutting mat.
• GO! Bolt material limits: up to 6 layers of cotton, batiks or silk; 2 layers of cotton with fusible web; or 1 layer of fleece, flannel, denim, leather, wool, batting or felt. Use no more than 4 layers when running two 5-inch-wide dies side by side. Start with fewer layers and follow the cutter and die instructions.
