How to Die Cut GO! Quarter Square Triangle 3" Finished Square Die

• For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
• Cut a 9" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 4 3/4" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 64 quarter square triangles across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 256 quarter square triangles.

Die Tips

• With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet after cutting. Snip these threads with scissors.
• Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
• Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
• It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
• Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller or die pick to clean lint and thread from dies. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
• For Studio or Studio 2 use, fit the GO! die in the appropriate GO! die adapter and compatible Studio tray, and use Studio cutting plastic instead of a GO! cutting mat.
• GO! Bolt material limits: up to 6 layers of cotton, batiks or silk; 2 layers of cotton with fusible web; or 1 layer of fleece, flannel, denim, leather, wool, batting or felt. Use no more than 4 layers when running two 5-inch-wide dies side by side. Start with fewer layers and follow the cutter and die instructions.
