Feathers never go out of style. From sedate neutrals to bright pops of color, feather shapes add flair to your quilting projects. The GO! Feathers die perfectly cuts both straight and curved feathers even through multiple layers of fabric. Ideal for applique elements, simply apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric before cutting to make applique-ready designs straight from the cutter. This die comes complete with detailed instructions on how to make Feathers To GO! table runner. Stylish!

Curved Feathers: Cut and fuse 2" x 3 1/4" rectangles. Cut 12 curved feathers across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 216 curved feathers.
Straight Feathers: Cut and fuse 1 7/8" x 3" rectangles. Cut 13 straight feathers across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 247 straight feathers.

No templates required. The GO! Feathers die includes two shapes that are typically difficult to cut by hand.
Quickly and easily cut four of each pre-fused applique shape in one pass thru the cutter (fusible counts as one half layer of fabric).

With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
