Sally is the creative force behind Sillier Than Sally, an artist, educator, and product designer known for her playful spirit and vibrant imagination. A self-described shenanigan starter, rainbow chaser, and adventure seeker, she brings a sense of joy and curiosity into every piece she creates - especially through her love of watercolor art. Her work has been described as “confetti-colored imagery that wraps your heart in happiness.” Sally’s signature style blends loose, bright watercolor splashes - affectionately known as “blobettes” by her devoted online community - with moments of dynamic realism. This distinctive approach infuses her animal, bird, and figurative artworks with energy, warmth, and personality. Her pieces are designed to feel immersive and inviting, as though the viewer could step right into the scene and join the playful, cheeky characters within.

Sally’s creative world spans a wide range of projects, including commissioned artworks, exhibitions across Australia and internationally, children’s book illustration, and fabric collections in collaboration with P&B Textiles. She also creates live art experiences for corporate events and weddings, paints murals, develops art licensing collections, and teaches both in-person and online workshops. Based in sunny Sydney, Australia, Sally shares her life with her two energetic young sons and her wonderfully logical yet endlessly supportive husband.
