Laura Heine’s quilting journey began over 30 years ago when she enrolled in a quilting class while expecting her first child. Her goal was simple: to make just one quilt before motherhood took over her time. That first quilt sparked a lifelong passion that has since resulted in countless beautifully crafted creations. In 1994, Laura turned her love of quilting into a business, opening Fiberworks, a quilt shop based in Billings, Montana. Through Fiberworks, she has shared her signature style and techniques with quilters across the country. As an instructor, both locally and nationally, Laura is known for inspiring others to explore their creativity and develop their own unique quilting voice. Today, Laura continues to design, teach, and create, with her grown children Jenna and Brandon cheering her on as they begin families of their own.
