Fay Nye is a licensed and published illustrator and pattern designer from Shropshire, UK. Surrounded by lush countryside, she draws inspiration from nature – animals, flowers, landscape, as well as the rich history of the Arts & Crafts movement. Aspiring to the motto: Beauty through craftsmanship to create designs which merge simplicity, functionality, and elegance. All designs are started with hand-drawn sketches and painted watercolour ink motifs. In Photoshop she assembles them into playful, whimsical designs from delicate illustrations to intricate repeat patterns.
