Wonderfully Bold, Yet Subtle Design
SAI's distinguishing silhouette was created by Toshiyuki Kita, the designer of the first-generation AQUOS that kicked off the history of LCD TVs. He came up with a color and design which fit effortlessly into various environments. For instance, if you run the machine in a location where it is visible from outside your shop, it gives the shop a sense of movement and inspires interest in passers-by. What's more, Tajima added little twists here and there, such as arranging the thread cones vertically, to achieve the surprisingly compact form. Tajima's Expert Manufacturing
Tajima has a history of manufacturing embroidery machines for professional use. In developing SAI, Tajima prioritized making sure it had the durability to earn customers' confidence, and making sure it can be used for many years. The basic mechanism follows the same engineering ideas as Tajima's flagship group of products, which have been successful around the world. For example, they adopted highly durable parts in motors and timing belts so that they endure long periods of use with ease. Tajima Writer Plus Software Included
Tajima Writer PLUS converts text to embroidery data, or creates embroidery data by combining registered designs and text. Editing tasks like changing the color of embroidery threads, position adjustments etc., and thread color management in synch with the machine are also possible. By connecting Tamija Writer PLUS and SAI via a LAN, the created embroidery data can be transmitted directly to SAI, and it can start embroidering right away. Trial Version Available
A trial version is available for TAJIMA Writer PLUS. In the trial version, you can test many of the operations of the production version, with some functional limitations until activation. Data output (to embroidery machine, file, or print) cannot be performed, and only one font is available for trial. Learn more here.

Basic Software Operation Examples
Select a Design Template
Select the desired layout from the pre-installed design templates.

Select a Design
Select the desired design from the design gallery. Design size can be changed and position can be adjusted.

Enter Text
Enter the text you want to embroider, and select the font and size. An image of the text will appear on the left side of the screen.

Select Colors
Visualize the finished product and select the colors.

Transmit Data to SAI
When the embroidery data is complete, transmit the data to SAI. Now, all the machine has to do is read the pattern and start the embroidery. Prior setup of the LAN connection is required.

8 Needle Embroidery
With JUKI SAI, it is possible to embroider multi-color designs with few thread changes. With a structure that inherits the high performance of industrial embroidery machines, fine lines, and wide areas can also be beautifully embroidered.

Exceptionally Fast Production
JUKI SAI can complete 800 stitches a minute while maintaining high-speed through various stitch lengths. Two sets of each frame are included to facilitate production time. As the machine embroiders, you have the ability to set up the following product for production.

Auto Thread Trimming
Auto thread trims in between jumps when changing colors, and at the end of a design for a clean design finish.

The laser positioning system makes lining up your start point and tracing your design easier than ever before taking out the guesswork before you stitch.

Thread Detection System
Detects any thread breakage in any of the 8 upper threads or an under thread during operation. The machine will automatically stop when thread breakage is detected.
