Named Akane, meaning "deep red" in Japanese after JUKI's rich heritage, the MO-3000QVP will have you serging like a pro! With the Akane MO-3000QVP, sewing will never feel like a hobby. This overlock serger is equipped with new features to take your surging to the next level, including an automatic thread supply, chain-off thread cutter, micro-lifter, and effortless threading with the power of air!

JUKI has added features with you in mind, including a wide throat area, a bright workspace with color temperature adjustment, a magnet needle tray, an LCD screen, and 2- to 3- thread conversion. Also, new features allow you to operate the serger by hand or foot, like a knee lift lever and foot controller with foot switch functions.

What's inside the JUKI Akane MO-3000QVP?

Cast aluminum housing. Strength and durability by design.	Removable housings for access facilitate easier servicing when needed.	Power and synchronization are provided via cog belts. This avoids belt stretch and slipping related issues and improves control.
Thread cutter (manual or automatic) - an exclusive JUKI feature. Guillotine style - shown here in up position	All shafts supported in bearings mounted or incorporated into the cast aluminum frame.	Tensionless thread delivery system The thread is advanced and retraced by predetermined amounts matching the stitch length, width and stitch pattern selected. Adjusting the length and/or width adjust the amount of thread needed to keep that perfect stitch formation. Serging on some special fabric or just want a little tweek? Use the fine tune adjustment knob.

Chain-Off Thread Cutter

Chain-off thread can be cut without using a pair of scissors. In addition to the manual cutting of chain-off thread with the handy cut button or the foot switch, automatic cutting is also possible by setting the chain-off thread length.

Micro-Lifter

With the micro-lifter, you can sew with the presser foot lifted up to 2.5mm. This extra spacing makes handling those bulky projects easier. Trying to finish the edge of a heavy winter coat or set elastic into a fleece waist band? Micro-lift is just what you need.

LCD Screen

The settings of the maximum sewing speed, automatic chain-off thread cutting length, color temperature of the LED lights, and the operation of the serger when operated with the foot switch can be changed with ease by means of the LCD screen and operation buttons.

Wide Throat Area

The Juki MO-3000QVP throat is 2.6″ in height, making the needle area much more roomy than typical sergers, greatly improving the usability.

Brightly Lit Workspace

With LED lights mounted in two spots above the needle, the workspace is illuminated with long-life and energy-efficient lighting that does not heat up even with prolonged use. The lighting can also be controlled to give soft white or daylight color, eliminating viewing difficulties caused by the combination of certain fabric and thread colors.

Automatic Needle Threader

Quickly thread the right and left needles with the automatic needle threader.

Easy Looper Threader

Using the easy threader feature, easily thread the machine from the threading hole to the looper hole with the power of a strong whoosh of air sent from the electric motor. This amazing function makes it fast and easy when threading the upper and lower loopers.

Magnetic Needle Tray

This conveniently placed tray is there to hold a needle when switching from 2-needle to 1-needle stitching, or when changing needles altogether.

Automatic Thread Supply

Beautifully sew various stitch types (such as overcasting, 3-thread narrow edge, and rolled hems) simply by turning the stitch selector knob. Automatic Thread Supply instantly sets the thread tension for all threads whenever a stitch is selected.

2/3 Thread Conversion

The Juki MO-3000QVP can be switched quickly from 2 to 3 thread stitch types by simply pushing the thread changeover attachment to the left.

Wide Variety of Stitch Patterns

Sew both stretchy and knit fabrics with the 2/3/4 thread overlock with chain stitch, and cover stitch, 3-thread narrow overlock, and 3-thread rolled hem.

Adjustable Stitch Length

Change the length of your stitch according to your project by simply turning the dial located on the exterior right-hand side within the range of 0.7 to 4mm.

Knee Lifter

Control the presser foot with the knee-lifter, to keep both hands on your sewing project at all times. The included knee lifter can raise the presser foot to a maximum height of 6mm. (The maximum height of the presser foot with the hand lifter is 8 mm.)

Multi-Function Foot Control

With the ability to assign a function to the heel side of the foot controller, you can carry out half-stitch, low-speed stitch or chain-off thread cutting by depressing the heel side of the foot controller.
