I last purchased this stabilizer over 3 years ago. I never had a problem with it and if I had to remove stitches, it never compromised the stabilizer. I used it for things other than wash away if I was out of stabilizer of another type. When I came to the end of the roll (sob. . . ) I tried another brand that looks and feels like Badgemaster. What a surprise, it was not the quality of Badgemaster. I highly recommend it and did a blog on it a few years ago. When I looked back at it again, I still love and use it as I did in 2008. I keep mine in a large plastic bag with the leftover little packettes of 'keep dry' that come with shoes and purses.
